Amy completed a Rotary Youth Exchange to Switzerland. In 2003 at age 18, then undertook her tertiary education, completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland. After undertaking her pre-registration on the Gold Coast, she became a registered pharmacist and soon after became a managing partner at Oxenford Amcal Chempro Chemist. Amy is heavily involved in community projects and Rotary programs across the City
