Sue Spence

2014 Community Dedication Award Winner

Sue Spence is a public speaker, workshop facilitator, author (her memoirs are being published by Pan Mcmillan) and educator who teaches communication skills to corporate groups and underprivileged youth using the principles of natural horsemanship.

Her three ponies and horse, representing the four temperaments (Choleric, Sanguine, Melancoly and Phlegmatic) help her to spread messages of self-acceptance, anti-bullying, effective body language skills and respect.

Her esteemed workshops are utilised by many organisations, psychologists, psychiatrists, corporate groups and celebrities.

The Horse Whispering Youth Program, a registered charity, has grown out of the well-known and highly regarded work that Sue has been doing for many years in using horses to help humans learn effective communication skills and body language skills. This program quickly became in demand throughout many youth and family organisations for its outstanding results in facilitating positive changes to people’s lives.
